What qualifications does an individual need to be considered for this program?
Applicants must provide the following:
- Proof of Hearing Loss (Audiogram)
- Undergraduate Degree or One Year of College and 3 years of Human Services Experience
- Letter of Application interest in the program (see below)
- Have access to a computer and the internet
- Three (3) letters of Reference
In your letter of application please include the following:
- Why you are motivated to join this program
- Leadership, service & mentoring experience
- Describe your interpersonal skills
- How and Where you will put your mentoring skills to work after this program
- The amount of time you will be able to put toward this training program and, in the future, to peer mentoring
- Your commitment to completing the program if you are accepted

March 30, 2007 for this year's class
When does the program start?
The next class will start June 17-19, 2007, on the Gallaudet University campus.
